Mixteca is a community-based organization that addresses the needs of the Mexican and Latinx community in Brooklyn. Their Healthy Relationships Support Program helps foster healthy relationships between spouses and within families and offers culturally sensitive domestic violence resources. They offer routine medical exams, physicals, vaccinations, prescriptions, women’s health services (gynecological exams and Pap smears), social services, and counseling. All services are free and confidential. Clinic is open on Saturdays from 8am-12pm.

The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center is a physical and digital campus dedicated to providing services and support for the LGBTQ+ community.

PHF is affiliated with PurpLE Family Health, a medical practice in New York City, that provides trauma-informed healthcare for gender-based violence survivors and their children. PHF's support of this entity ensures that the cost of healthcare for survivors is covered in full.

Eligibility: Survivors of gender-based violence and forced migration.

NYC Care is a health care access program that guarantees low-cost and no-cost services at NYC Health + Hospitals to New Yorkers who do not qualify for or cannot afford health insurance. Through this program, you receive a membership card that allows you access healthcare at NYC Health + Hospitals across the city, choose your own primary care provider, receive preventative care (vaccinations, routine screenings, mammograms), and mental health support.

Eligibility: Accepts all immigrants, does not require insurance. They do not keep a record of information regarding your immigration status.

FQHCs provide low cost health services that may include primary care, vision, dental and mental health services. Many health centers are currently providing COVID-19 testing and telehealth visits.

Eligibility: Anyone without health insurance regardless of immigration status.

A traditional charity hospital, as well as a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary medical, dental and behavioral healthcare services, in addition to select specialties: optometry, podiatry, and cardiology. We provide care regardless of economic, social, immigration, or insurance status. Also, provide free door-to-door transportation through our Good Health Shuttle, a five-borough program servicing more than 250 shelters and domestic violence safe houses in NYC, and to the public housing communities of Astoria, Ravenswood and Queensbridge Houses in Northwest Queens.

ExpressCare is a service that allows you to receive virtual care from a NYC Health + Hospitals doctor using a smartphone, tablet or computer. They treat non-emergency health issues. There are also Express Care locations in the Bronx and Queens.
