The Kings County Hospital Center has become a part of our life since March 5, 2023, Sunday when my 81-year old mother in-law became a patient here following her fall at home early that morning. The hospital is very much neat and clean. And the doctors, nurses, support stuffs and the people in the front desk on the lobby who handle scores of visitors every day are amazing. It's said life is beautiful. And I believe it's because of some people who should be mostly credited to make life beautiful. For last 9/10 days the way Naomi Reid, James Nicholas, Dave Surpes, Emanuel Dominique and others have been tolerating visitors like us is simply wonderful. I would also mention hospital cop Ernst Cesar and his fellow men for their kind approach to visitors. They all deserve a big bouquet 💐 of our love and appreciation.

There is a Covid outbreak on the 6th Floor of the hospital amongst the staff. My brother tested positive and the staff did not inform me because they are trying to cover up the staff that haven't been wearing masks. Nurse Debra Merlyn Archer, thought she was being funny by telling me it was my responsibility to ask specific questions and if I didn't ask them if he had covid it was my fault that I didn't know. She was nasty and rude. She needs training on how to speak to people and she also needs training on how to be an effective head nurse. Her coworkers told me she makes the floor tense. Aside from that I believe the hospital also has a responsibility to report outbreaks which they didn't.

I was in ER with my mom. Horrible Nurses in adult medicine. Nurses in admitting were more professional. ER murses are sloppy and just dont give a damn. This is an HHC hospital They need to monitor the staff better. Only here due to ambulance staff saying we had to come here. Forgot to add no one gives their name and they hide the ID Kings county staff just Dont give a damn! They should be ashamed to say they work here.

Terrible! I received a follow up appointment for a knee injury that I had, which was literally several months from the date that I actually came to the hospital for them to tell me at the last minute, the day before my appointment is scheduled that I have to reschedule since the orthopedic doctor was not going to be there. They said that I have to wait an additional month and and 5 days for another appointment! Are you serious ?! This is extemely unprofessional! My knee is killing and I'm pregnant and it's only going to get worst from here.Any other hospital I wouldn't have this problem. I was all ready for my appointment for them to cancel the day before! Ridiculous! You're better off going somewhere else.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. After getting hit by a car I was unconscious and had severe head trauma. I was “released” or in my opinion forced to leave when they found out I had no insurance. I was completely unaware of what had happened and did not feel at all able to care for myself. I was not fully cognizant and I have no idea how I was able to make it home safely. They should pay for the danger they put me in. The lack of competence and empathy of the staff and administration for allowing a place like this to still operate is mind blowing.
