Nice staffs but the facilities were being neglected. Looking at the chairs and the window makes me wonder. If they don’t make an effort to take care of the place they work everyday, how much care they could be spending into caring for the patients?

I left work early today because I had an appt at 2:30 and was told to come in for FIRST TIME PATIENT paperwork at 2:00. I stayed on schedule and signed in at the appointed time of 2:00. Despite another patient signing in alongside me, she received attention right away. Even being on time and taking their advice, I waited for more than 10 minutes before receiving any acknowledgement regarding the next steps. It got to the point where I had to go up to the desk by myself to ask for help. To my shock, an older Cantonese-speaking woman working at the front desk was rather dismissive, yelling "一个一个来" ("one by one") without even pausing to check the sign-in list or adequately address my concerns. There were literally only two names on the sign-in sheet, the patient before me and mine. Fortunately, the other younger lady at the front desk noticed my situation and immediately helped. Although her professionalism was appreciated, the older lady's initial neglect, especially given the few sign-ins, frustrated me and made me feel undervalued.

Don’t do blood draw there. I went to new building by the skyview to do physical examination. The intern nurses made Four times attempts to puncture my arm and Did not get the vein. I do understand we should give them a chance to practice when I know they are interns. After I was watching the needle get in and out my arm four times. I shocked and stop them. That is shouldn’t happen in a real human.

First time patient and scheduling an appointment was seamless. The front desk was informative and went over all the paperwork. I didn't have to wait long for my scheduled appointment. Dr. Ying Zhuo was professional and knowledgeable. She made sure I was comfortable during my visit. The nurses were welcoming as well. Follow up was quick and the office was very responsive. Thank you to Dr. Zhuo and Charles B. Wang Community Health Center

This is an excellent health center facility. As a new patient, I was able to schedule an appointment over the phone for intake with a specialist. Intake was fast, and an appointment was scheduled quite sooner than I expected. Upon arrival at the OB/GYN front desk on the 2nd floor, I had to present my insurance and ID, as well as complete intake forms with paper and on a tablet. The front desk lady was able to go over everything I was filling out and signing, including the pre-mental health screening and HIPAA forms. The intake nurse and Dr. Christine Kim were phenomenal! They made me feel welcomed and comfortable, and they treated me with care so that I can get the appropriate screenings and exams done. I really appreciate the way Dr. Kim explained every procedure and was very patient with me (I had a horrible & traumatic experience with another OB/GYN professional in another clinic not affiliated with Charles B. Wang Center). Thank you Dr. Kim and the OB/GYN staff! This center also has other services such as mental health, urology, internal medicine, and much more. I am not a local to Flushing, but I am willing to make the trip so that I can be treated here for my medical needs all-in-one. They also have an online portal to keep track of your visits, request appointments or message health professionals, and monitor your medications for refill requests. Thank you Charles B. Wang Community Heath Center!
