If you love a lgbtq person or are one: Be sure to stop by this institution/historical landmark in the heart of the village and say hello! They have excellent resources and info available, rotating art shows throughout the building, a coffee bar, and are a very helpful friendly bunch. Because it takes a healthy village to raise healthy children into healthy adults; The Center continues to enrich the lives of our children and yours!! 💚 Donate if you can 💚 Stonewall was a Riot!

The Center is a fantastic community resource where everyone is welcome. Their array of programs and events is commendable, addressing the varied needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Don't miss the Keith Haring mural on the second floor, a transformative piece once set in a men's bathroom. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors!

Finally after all this visits to New York I crisscrossed ways with the center. All fanboying at the reception for the bathroom of Keith Harings drawings. Everyone was so nice and friendly-such a great space! ♥️♥️♥️

This is a important community resource for the NYC LGBT+ community. It has so much to offer. If you're a visitor make sure to stop in to the cafe they have great coffee and snacks, and there's a lot of really good art on display including perhaps one of the most important ever painted by Keith Haring.

I went to see the Keith Haring mural in the bathroom. I did not know if it would be open to the public, but the staff was very kind and gave me directions. It's very cool that art like this is accessible to the public at no cost. If you stop by, consider leaving a donation. PS: it is a graphic mural so keep that in mind.
