This is my first time coming to this clinic. The receptionists on the second floor is very unprofessional. She told me to fill out a form but still asked me sensitive questions loudly over the pixie glass. Then put me in a room because I coughed a little like I have some super infectious disease. The nurses were nice though. My gf also had a terrible experience with a OBGYN doctor named Dr Mabel Gong. Dr Gong was very rough with her. She was loud and rude. After the checkup my gf experienced light bleeding. I saw reviews complained about her too. I don’t recommend this clinic. I won’t come back because overall seems unprofessional and chaotic.

Horrible service. The front desk workers lacks the basic courtesy of assisting patients and seems to have a narrow-minded approach to customer service. They are not willing to help me out in filling out a medical form for my college even when they offer that service. Furthermore, I've seen my doctor in the span for 5 years for a single problem which is my knee pain. They have not referred me to any place useful or was on top of my issue, therefore leading my joins to develop severely and I have to go to another doctor to see it.

Been a patient here for about 20 years since I was a preteen. I’ve read about fifteen reviews so far and felt the need to write a review, something I rarely spend time writing. Although I understand many people who spend time write usually have a negative experience to share, which I will share below! I can give an honest assessment after being a patient here for 20 years. Positives: I love this community healthcare center. This place is wonderful asset to the community. They really serve the community at large, despite it being a Chinese immigrant patient base, which has its ups and downs. Downsides are working class immigrants who aren’t assimilated to American lifestyle (loud cellphone conversations; patients yelling at front desk staff and vice versa; certain cultural barriers). Upside: this clinic is truly a community clinic for EVERYONE; all types of insurances are accepted. Lower income? We accept you! Some income and higher income? We accept you, but you get a co-pay. Can’t afford to pay? We have a sliding scale! Checking-in: I am tri-lingual (Cantonese, English, Mandarin). I greet the front ladies in Cantonese as “Yee Yee - “auntie”, I have an appointment with blah blah”. No problem and I’m settled in. The customer service is great to need improvement. When I was a twenty something with Medicaid, front desk receptionists on the second, third, fourth, fifth floors spent about 10 minutes answering my questions for my health care needs. They loved chatting and sharing their knowledge with patients. My parents and uncle are all patients of CBWC for about 20 years too. With some bad apples from front desk people, overall the dr/patient experience was generally good. Negative: I once complained that the front desk treat non-Chinese looking patients BETTER. I’m of Chinese heritage. I’ve seen front desk treat white, black, Hispanic patients with a warm smile and small chat In answering questions. Me? I was blew off!!! I once wrote a comment about my experience and dropped it off in the comment box. Positive OB-GYN experience: routine check ups with Gail Bachman is wonderful. She suggested that I may have PCOS and recommended I get it checked. The nurse staff is nice too. Some probably can read and write Englishc but not speak fluently. Overall, it doesn’t matter to me very much. Negative OB-GYN: first floor front desk staff for OB-GYN is a hit or miss. Some women are very miserable on the phone. A simple question like “when should I see a doctor now that im newly pregnant?” Middle aged lady’s response: “I don’t know. Talk to your doctor.” 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m pregnant with my first. I was disappointed that Dr. Bauchman doesn’t offer prenatal care. So I saw Lily Wong and a Nurse Practitioner last name Kim. I showed Dr. Lily Wong my pregnancy stick that I’m pregnant and wondering what I should watch out for. She tells me there is nothing to see, asked me to pee on a stick. I asked if I could see anything, she obliged which was nice of her. Yes, there is nothing to see. Then, she walked out. Asked me to come back 8th or 9th week. I left a compliant and someone at the Admin offfice called me which was NICE of them. I really appreciate it. ; 5th floor OB-GYN had a super helpful front desk millennial age lady. I found out that the delivering hospital is Brooklyn Health Center and NONE of the CBWC delivering doctor or nurse practitioners are on call. They work once or twice a month. I decided to take my prenatal visits to Mt Sinai which has both good and bad bedside manner drs.

Very bad experience! I had an appointment at 1 pm. I arrived at the clinic at 12:50 pm. I told someone at the reception and paid my copay. He told me to wait so I waited. Nobody ever called me in until 1:40 pm. Everyone around me went in and even people behind me. So I went up and asked another lady (the guy I talked to went out). The lady was surprised that no one ever checked me in so the doctor didn’t even know I was there. I can’t believe that I waited for one hour for nothing! Later she sent me in and I had to wait for the doctor for another 20 minutes and came out after 2 pm.
