I just wanted to second Patrice's review here. I did my in-person orientation at NEW a couple of months ago, was super excited about the program, and was told I would be followed up with to schedule the intake exam and enroll in the program. I have received absolute radio silence since then despite emailing and calling NEW constantly. I have been trying to pull myself out of homelessness and training like this would be life-altering. I'm just so devastated and disappointed.

Unprofessional. The intake day was chaotic and disorganized. There's a lot of politics at this place and are looking for people who look a certain way to keep funding. Read between the lines. Better off going to Woods and Building Works.

This is a horrible institution. It sells dreams to women they can’t help them with. Horrible communication. Wasted a whole year being delusional and waiting for a result that never came because of their management or maybe they just don’t care and are in it for the check. Either way waste

Big waste of time. They promised a lot during the program, but once you graduate they typically don’t help at all. Not to mention, half the classes in the program were irrelevant to trades work.
