After a domestic violence incident i was told by a close friend to contact this organization. Sakhi was quick to do an intake, tell me how they could potentially help me and after that they disappeared, leaving me in a lurch. I have left several text and voices messages to several people with zero response. If they couldn’t offer any help they should just have let me know. This organization made my mental state worse as I feel more alone than ever. I wish that I had never contacted them and will let my south Asian network know to NEVER recommend this organization as they are not there to help women in need. I truly feel that the intake was done to make them feel good. They even asked me to let the DA m’s office know that I was using their services, which of course I told the DA’s office . But there was no actual help. Please do not contact this organization or give them any money. I learned the hard way that they are not here to help women in need and only hurt us more.

Absolute garbage organization! You call them, they don't pick up. You email them instead explaining your dire situation, they tell to call in. Worst people in the world. They have no understanding what dire situation some women might be in, just give you the run around like in India. Our people will never change.

Every time I had a meeting with these people they were very late. Their never ending apologies and excuses meant nothing.
