The 3 stars are because of the amazing medical staff that treated my mothers blood clot and then quickly identified the cause of it, putting her on the best medication for treatment. The after care however in 16 East was horrendous. No one comes when the button is pressed. My poor mother soiled herself in the chair, called me crying saying that no one was coming to clean her up and change her. The nurses check in, she asks for something, they then take an hour to get back to her for a simple request such as a bed pan. The only time they actually did anything on time was when I was there visiting her and relaying her requests. My mother thankfully has good vitals after her procedure but I can’t even imagine the nightmare it would be if she didn’t. Another star has to be awarded to the case worker assigned to my mother. Casey is excellent and helped us with everything we asked including quickly initiating and processing a transfer to a much better, private hospital. Don’t go to Bellvue if you want to be treated like a human being.

If I could rate this hospital zero stars I truly would. I see many comments with the same issue my partner had. Major lack of care and sympathy. My partner went in trying to get help for their back pain from their herniated disc, muscle spasms, and crippling cramps in their leg. These pains get so intense that my fiancé even experiences hot flashes. Doctor Sarah Fetterolf said my partner appeared to be comfortable and fine, even though my partner was walking with a limp and in severe pain. During this visit, my partner has an accident and fell due to not being given a wheelchair or assistance. Nurse gave them a shot and left it bleeding. No one assisted either when they asked for a urine sample. Considering these were all white doctors and nurses, I feel confident and sure enough to say it felt a bit racist. This is only a short summary of what my partner experienced but it isn’t even half of what they experienced and felt. The other reviews under this hospital are disheartening. Do not work in a place where you don’t truly care for your patients. There is no reason why a huge hospital like this one is having problems caring for patients. I hope to see change and that there is a change in staff as well.

No complaints for medical, radiology, laboratory & mri/scan departments.. Don't call Endo clinic, they never pick up the phone. New building is always clean, excellent service.. But ER forget it!!!

If they had option to give this hospital zero stars I would. The absolute worst hospital. This place is built like a prison. My boyfriend got into terrible accident and was Rush to this horrible hospital. He wasn’t treated well with very bad experience especially on the 15th floor north. He needed emergency surgery, they kept delaying his surgery and never got it done. My boyfriend got transfer to a way better hospital. My advice keep yourself and your love ones away from here. This hospital doesn’t care for patients at all! They will treat you like garbage.
