Don't care about smoking effecting asthma. They are for smokers over my health. It's also dirty there with no soap in bathrooms, dirty floors, and rude staff.

I gave it two stars only because the place is opened 24/7. Other than that, this place is no good at all. There's plenty of degenerates just lounging around there looking for trouble! The staff is very tough and rude due to the fact that they're dealing with street trash. Anyways, from there they'll send you to Manhattan to place in a shelter "befitting" for you.

I noticed that the high reviews im seeing for the living room are the people that work at the living room. From my own experience I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place. Staff are rude and taunt clients by talking down to them. Plus those 3 Meals Staff wouldn't try eating themselves. Showers are barley cleaned, when cleaned not cleaned properly.

The living room is a good place to go if u are homeless on the street. They serve 3 meals daily. U can always go no matter the time of day or nite. Staff is friendly and great resources for the homeless.

Rapists, woman beaters, all kinds of drug addicted and mentally ill stay there. They need to have a sign up saying that is who it's for. This place is not for normal homeless people. A strange man came into the bathroom as i was using the bathroom, and I had to scream at him repeatedly for him to leave. Fortunately, he didn't end up raping me. Rapists, woman beaters, drug addicts and dealers live at this shelter. It is safer to sleep on the train.
