I've heard so many negative reviews about PATH intake center. All I can say is if you are in need this is the place to go. Don't listen to anything people say to discourage or scare you. They're very helpful and served their purpose. Stay to yourself, be respectful, follow their rules, ask questions if you don't know something and get out . Path helped me and my 6 yr old daughter when we really needed it and I'm forever grateful. The only complaints I have are... People weren't watching their kids and the waiting process was a bit long but worth it . The place was kept clean by janitorial staff constantly, smelling and looking good. Security was direct and clear when they spoke. Everyone did their best from my experience. I was placed in the borough my child attended school in and not far from my previous address, which made it easy for me to commute to school, work and doctors appointments without even requesting. Thank you DHS ! I pray everyone gets the help they need and find housing . Stay Blessed and Have Faith !!

Go prepared with the documentation you will need. Make sure to pack patience and a positive attitude. You will need it. Also, bring only your essentials and absolute needed things. Since you will have to carry them around. They allow you to go out and get food, and they have some lockers aswell to hold on to your luggage. Best of lucks, Pray, pray pray 🙏. Remember this too shall pass...

I think it's wonderful that families or people in general of need have a place to come when there is no where else. A lot of the workers are kind but be in mind that they have to deal with tough people each day so you will get some people who are very vague and rude but for the most part there are people at PATH who will do what they can to make it a more positive experience. Depending on you case, it can be a long wait but my son and I were there from 8am and out 3pm. Another thing I want to mention is some of the social workers who gets information on your case can be rude and talk down on you. The woman I had was named Boe I believe and as much respect I gave to her, I didn't get that back so I got up and requested to speak to someone else. I'm not saying whoever is reading this should do this, but please do not let no one talk down on you, defend yourself in the nicest manner and give them what they need so that you can get out of there QUICK. I am very grateful for the second person I spoke to and I was able to be placed in a very decent room with my son.

It’s a process but just have faith and don’t get too weary! If you want the good things out of life you have to have testing of your faith; it’s a lot of things I didn’t like but if you go there early in the morning it may take a while but you will get placed quickly they want people to show effort. They really are a great help if you stay positive just ignore all negativity and stay focused on what you’re trying to do in life. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely horrible I can’t believe how they treat people here! Workers eating in front of your face while you’re waiting in line to be seen.Being turned down because there’s “nothing they can do” to support me with medical accommodations even though I brought all my paper work and doctors notes! I was told I have to come back in 5 days to reapply and start the process all over again! And to wait 10-15 days to prove I need an accommodation even though I HAD PROOF IN HAND! Disgusting! These people don’t care and they don’t want to help!
